No. They didn’t. One cop did. The other cops were milling around, not really sure of what they were doing.
And they choose this location (choke point) with full knowledge that they were not letting anyone simply storm past here. It was this group's line in the sand and natural selection simply took over.

Lord I wish we could let natural selection return. We have way to many idiots in existence that owe their existence to handouts and the breeding that they use to get ever larger checks.
