I had a '80 CJ7 back in my early college days. It had a 350 under the hood, 4" lift, glasspacks, and rolled on 35's so it was absolutely the worst vehicle a 20 something should drive, but it was fun and could pick up Monroe skanks with the quickness.

Seriously, a more scaled down version would be a great hunting rig and obviously much more wallet friendly than a old Bronco.

Friend of mine had one that originally was a hunting rig. Buckshot mudders, huge Warn winch, marine carpet interior...perfect for narrow trails. We tried to get that thing stuck. He eventually had it painted, new interior, lots of work to make it a streetable (street legal) ride.
