Get on VRBO or another site for home rentals. Hotels in Breck are very pricey. Stay as close to town as possible. And you need to get on this ASAP as it fills up very quickly in June / July.
We'll be there the last week of June and first week of July. Been going annually in that timeframe for the past 8 years.
For hiking, use the All Trails app. There's several great hikes within 10-15 minutes of Main St. Hike Mount Quandary if you're feeling up for it. It's probably one of the easier 'Fourteeners' in Colorado, but it's definitely note an easy hike.
