I shoot whitetail in the shoulder and have never had a problem. Do y’all really need to look into ballistics that hard to kill animals? I don’t shoot 120lb Louisiana does at 900 yards because I just don’t consider that hunting. But to each his own. I’m not judging. I’m not saying I couldn’t do better with something else but I don’t have any reason to change. This goes for the killing of many many animal species in many states. Some folks need to chill. Go bow hunting or something if you’re really needing a challenge that bad

I thought the point of the thread was that it's no better or worse than most other hunting rounds. It evolved into what it has lol

But it begs the question, why did you buy it over say a 7mm08 or 308?

I'm honestly interested to know the answer. In 2015 it wasn't even in the top 10 rifle caliber sold. Now it's freaking everywhere. People on the OB, Facebook hunting pages etc. It's unreal it's explosion in popularity in a few years.
