The one I had just replied to before you posted. You said that taxation and regulation are examples of socialism in America. They are not.
Then you said that Nordic countries were not socialists, even though they have a higher tax rate than we do. I agree that they're not socialists, but neither are we.

Nordic countries have less regulation. Thus their higher rankings in the economic freedom index.
Also, out of the tens of thousands of industries in a given economy, they essentially have two large social programs - health care, education.
They're not socialist countries, lol. And to the extent they have socialist programs, the bills are paid by capitalists.
