This fricking Unspeakable and his friends bullshite where they play Minecraft together on YouTube. My kid watches videos of people playing Minecraft.
I literally just told him a minute before seeing this thread that we’re deleting YouTube from the tv. He’s been picking up many bad habits from the shite he watches on there and it’s pissing the wife and I off. He’s now crying and throwing a fit because I told him we’re getting rid of YouTube but he’ll get over it. When I was his age I dug holes in the yard and I turned out somewhat ok.

A Godsend has been discovering Luigi’s mansion or Mario 3D gameplay. I absolutely HATE it but working from home and when the daycare makes kids quarantine for 2 weeks, it’s so hard to try to limit TV time. Those games aren’t violent and my 4 year old will watch that shite for an hour straight without a peep.

This and I don’t get it.
I’ve heard people try to argue that it’s the same as grown men watching football but I’d give my left nut in order to put on the helmet and pads again to play football in the NFL.

Mine too, but I don't mind that one too much. He gets really creative with minecraft and learns certain things from watching the YouTube videos.
When my 4 year old got all excited because he found obsidian and was mining it I was blown away. He builds houses and makes his crafting table and furnace and makes all these different tools.
I know it's not real world stuff, but he is being creative and building things rather than some of the other dumb shite that's out there.
I'm just happy he's done watching Ryan.

You're right to nip that shite in the bud. IDK exactly how, but it absolutely fricked up one of my own. There's something messed up about that game and the kids who play it.
