re: How can Louisiana attract more industries?

Why do we need to subsidize Hollywood studios and films? It was a good gimmick at the time but should have lasted only a few years.

IBM in Baton Rouge is probably the best thing we’ve had as far as government giveaways. At least that kept or brought a few smart people the the state.

Louisiana is mainly a tourist state with little industry outside of timber, o&g, and chemical plants.

Personally, I think we should try to get a couple of call centers. These jobs don’t have to go overseas. We should also start a large project to rebuild are coastline. Why this dumbass democrat governor hasn’t attracted ecological dollars to our coast is a disgrace. I mean he can’t even bring any left thinking business or special interests to this state. What the hell is he worth? He’s a waste.
