While throughout history citizens rose up and fought against communism, the USA fought for communism. Looking at this through a purely historical lens, it’s both sad and amazing at the same time.
Men are men. Power is addictive. Those in power will simply say if you want communism, we’ll give you communism. The only question is once it runs its course, it always does, there is only one way to attempt to turn it off.
We told W Germany to tear down that wall 20 years ago. And here we are. 20 years. Not even a blink of an eye. Unreal.

USA-made tanks were manned by Soviet crews and in combat as early as July 1941, on the Russian Front. The USA was nominally neutral until December 1941. Conclusion: the USA was helping Communism even during the times that it was supposed to be neutral.
FDR thought that Stalin was the lesser of two evils, but, he still helped Communism because he was rather Left Wing.
The USA has always been "rather" Left Wing. Now, in the 21st Century, IMHO, the USA will experiment with being very Left Wing, and that experiment has begun in earnest.
We shall see how US History now unfolds, as the years progress. IMHO, we can now count the years instead of the decades as the USA descends into this Left Wing experiment.
