Being able to read in the bed in the dark has been a game changer.
I agree. I see a lot of people on here mentioning how they prefer actual books, but I don't think I can ever go back. 95% of my reading is done in bed before I go to sleep. My wife could probably fall asleep with a flashlight in her face, but I still like being able to have the room ready for sleep while I am reading.

I have a reading chair - If I read in bed too much, i end up staying up way too late most of the time and having more trouble falling asleep. I read in the chair to wind down and then go to my bedroom to sleep without distractions.
I used to do it in bed alot - but I would stop a chapter and put the book down and then try to sleep for 5 minutes and then just pick it back up half time. definitely had a few nights were I went to bed at 4 or 5 and had to wake up at 7 for work.

I love my Kindle paperwhite. I think it's maybe 3rd generation. It doesn't hold a charge nearly as long as it did, so I probably need a new one soon. I love having a light. Plus it's not heavy like books. I don't have to prop it open or even hold it depending on where I'm reading.
