One of my grandfathers died of Alzheimer's and when he was just starting to get bad he'd get in his car to drive to the grocery store (which was less than a mile from his house) and he'd get lost and drive around until he ran out of gas.

He went to that store almost everyday because it was kind of his social hour after my grandmother died.

Later on, he'd occasionally pull out his junk at family get togethers. He used to hit on my wife all the time too
