There was a psychological test a few years back...Asche Conformity experiment? Leader got volunteers for this but packed the study with people in on it..except for one person ( a true volunteer that thought three others were as well)...they were asked questions ..and one qurstion was which line wss shorter ( of two on drawing)...all the planted "volunteers" were asked first and intentionally choose the wrong one. The true volunteer follwed the incorrect answer..because not wasting to be isolated. I believe that's the details...people following knowingly wrong paths just to not be isolated
