Keeping it within Ohio State QB's to get drafted in the first round, I think Haskins was a much better passer than Fields and we see how well that went, though Fields likely has a stronger arm. Fields is so athletically gifted that it covers up much of this inability as a passer.

He’s in a system that likely isn’t going to get him NFL ready from the start. There is a reason Haskins sucks in the NFL despite his tremendous physical talent. He played in a system that didn’t develop him and was easy. He was going to need to put a ton of work in to be a good QB in the NFL unlike a lot of others.
Herbert and Burrow both learned to pay the position much better and put in the work. Tua is coming off an injury and so it’s hard to tell, but in reality he is going to have to work super hard to learn to play QB in the NFL.
As for Fields, no doubt he is a great talent, has some great touch in long throws and could be great. He’s going to have to sit and learn while putting in a ton of work to succeed at a high level. I think he can do it, but he’s not a safe bet for a team without stability at the position.
