I find this unlikely, given about 85% of homeschooling parents cite religious reasons as one of their reasons for doing so and nearly all homeschool curriculum is designed by religious or politically conservative entities.

According to the Homeschool Legal Defense Association, a Purcellville, Virginia-based Christian group that has frequently brought lawsuits against state and federal schooling authorities on behalf of homeschoolers, about 25 percent of homeschooling families are secular, while roughly two-thirds are Christian. That group of atheist, agnostic, and non-religious homeschoolers is bound to grow as more people identify as non-religious. It’s hard to say exactly how many American kids identify as secular and how many of them are homeschooled, since surveys typically focus on adults over the age of 18.

So...
a) please provide data
b) 85% was significantly higher than the ~66% from 4-5 years ago when the numbers above were pulled, and the population has continued to move to being less religious. Stands to reason it's at or lower than 2/3 and trending downward.

Also, it took a tiny bit of googling to find a ton of secular, accredited home schooling options. Curious to see data on the second part of your assertion.
