He didn’t expect them to hire the candidate he wanted, he just wanted them to talk to the candidates he liked.
This is Cal McNair’s frick up as usual. You don’t tell your franchise quarterback that they’ll consult him in the process, and then do the exact fricking opposite.
All that being said, if the Texans trade Watson, I’m done with the franchise.

I think it’s funny how people dump on Wentz for the Eagles struggles despite them not having an offensive line and have no offensive weapon of note play in every game this season and yet Watson didn’t have anywhere near the issues with his supporting cast and people are knighting for him.
One of those guys was a legit MVP candidate and the other is Kirk Cousins with more melanin.

Watson is a very good QB but the fact that he thinks he should have say in who is the GM and head coach is absurd. Apparently making in excess of $50 million per year isn’t enough.
