quote:frick em. Didn’t realize the QB does the hiring. These athletes are getting pathetic. You want to hire a GM or coach buy a damn team.
Just got the ESPN alert that apparently he’s pissed because they didn’t consider who he wanted for gm.

He didn’t expect them to hire the candidate he wanted, he just wanted them to talk to the candidates he liked.
This is Cal McNair’s frick up as usual. You don’t tell your franchise quarterback that they’ll consult him in the process, and then do the exact fricking opposite.
All that being said, if the Texans trade Watson, I’m done with the franchise.

#Texans QB Deshaun Watson is extremely unhappy with the organization after owner Cal McNair informed him he would be involved in the GM and coach hiring process and provide feedback… but then did neither in the hire of GM Nick Caserio, sources say.

When you read the full story from Schefter it’s not really like that. Cal McNair told him he valued his input for GM and coach hire and then didn’t even consult with Watson before hiring a GM...the way he found out was through Twitter. Anyone would be paused if their boss told them they valued your input on something and then didn’t follow through with that.
I live in Houston but wouldn’t necessarily call myself a Texans fan...but I try to care about them since they are the local team. They’re management is so dysfunctional it makes it hard to even casually care about them.
