Low track pushes too much warm air into South Louisiana and I don't see much reason for that track to dip a lot farther south. Maybe if the trough digs a little deeper but the best temperature gradient is going to be near the coast and that's where the low is going to track.

Central LA might get a pretty good band out of it though, nice cold front setting up at 700 mb that will provide some lift and some warm air being funnelled in to a region with cold enough temps at that level for snow growth. Wouldn't be surprised for someone to overperform 6" (heh).
