Adams County MS. State record bass. Most all of the top record deer in the state.

But it's already full so Texas would be next

Pickwick has the state record for smallmouth. My buddy has a picture of a deer swimming across part of yellow creek lesiurely. We see deer regularly year round on bay springs lake just south of it. saw a small buck this year but it is WMA land and I don't think many hunt it. Up and down the tenn tom waterway in Mississippi and all along the TVA lakes in northern alabama have big deer and some of the best bass fishing there is, but don't tell everyone.

If you want to throw in striped bass then you can add Smith Lake to the mix. Gotta be some deer in Bankhead NF and Sipsey Wilderness. There are a lot of great spots in the south for both and I'm gonna retire on a lake with hunting not too far away. I may be 80 when I achieve this but i'm gonna make it happen.
