You talking about Palm Island Resort in St. Vincent & The Grenadines? Rooms start at $1k a night. I know there's a Palm Island in Florida but this one isn't that.

Yes. I’ve stayed there twice. With flights for 2 out of New Orleans, I booked for a little over $5k for a couple all in. It was a great deal but the resort is very laid back, not fancy, so I don’t really think of it as upscale. Your not going to lay on the beach and get service. Just not that type of place. But it is a tremendous value and I will go back.
