Like the other guy said I’m glad it happened the way it did. Johnny is moving forward in many ways, and getting closure with Ali is a big part of that maturation.
That said, a goodbye lay wouldn’t have been the worst thing in the world
I was kind of hoping that Ali wasn’t even going to remember Daniel at first

I like that Ali was there to give a perspective of the whole incident that started it...a perspective that neither wanted to see. They knew on some level, but couldn’t get past their point of view to see it. She allowed them to see each other from her perspective.
