What's the impact of Brett Helms' injury on our young QB's?

When Brett comes back around, how big of an adjustment will it be for them? I was never a QB, so I'm not really sure just how vital the development of the relationship between QB and center is.

what if his injury lingers and he doesn't come back or doesn't come back at full strenght. Is Ryan Miller good enough to be a starting center in the SEC?

Anyone know if Brett has been able to stay in shape during this injury?

I saw Hatch, Lee, and Jefferson, just the other day during lunch, and this is what they looked like...

Seriously, though, it's not a big deal. Centers will often help other linemen, and you worry about botched snaps with replacements during game time, but this far away from opening day it's nothing to worry about at all.

Does anyone disagree with Doc? I don't want to, but I think there's another side to this argument...

Centers captain the line, are responsible for picking up the blitz packages, and generally responsible for the other team's middle backer on running plays up the middle. Ummm, yeah, I'd be worried.

Good points. What do you think about the initial thing I raised about the lack of development of the relationship between the new QBs and Brett? Do you think that's going to be much of an issue?

Well, Helms and the QB's had all spring to work together, and perhaps if Helms is having some injury problems getting snaps with Miller isn't necessarily a bad thing.
