Yes they should expand to at least 8 teams. The non playoff bowls have become insignificant. You will see more and more star players opt out of the bowl games to prepare for their NFL career rather than playing in these games. Hell, it even appears that the fans could care less about these games. The playoffs have been great, but it seems fan interest dwindles in top teams when their team gets a 2nd loss and thus eliminated from playoff contention. Who really cares about the Texas bowl or Indy bowl or even the orange bowl?
