I am so very sorry for your loss. Paul let my boys 4 and 5 and I stay in his home the first build. He worked with everyone in attendance at their level of understanding, reaching each with experience and wisdom. He had a gentle easy demeanor that draws people in. That weekend, and the benefit for EJW were the only 2 times I was blessed to spend time with him. Of course, his sage advice and life weathered perspective typed on these pages was always a welcome addition. He will be dearly missed.


Rest peacefully fishfighter. May God hold and keep your family.

I haven’t posted much on the OB the past few years since my twins were born. But reading through this thread has brought back a lot of fond memories for me and the OB. Just seeing some familiar faces post in here makes me smile. It’s insane that a message board can actually create some true friendships in real life. to you all...and again to you, Fishfighter’s daughter.
