If it was die or be perfectly fine, that would be all fine and well. Plenty of people are dealing with prolonged recovery and some with more severe long-hauler symptoms. That's actually quite a bit similar to polio. Polio didn't kill large swaths of people but it did cripple quite a few children.
I don't have time for all that. I'll happily take my vaccine at the end of the month. And if the vaccine is successful, look forward to how that will advance mRNA cancer research (which has been around for a decade or better).
