I did a quick search and this was even mentioned on here last year:

According to 247 Insiders, Curtis Johnson the top option to replace Joe Brady as PGC - LINK

other stories added that Joe Lombardi was on the list too and only a little behind Johnson.

if the hope is to keep what we had last year under Brady, it makes all the sense in the world to hit the Sean Payton tree again. and Im making this part up but it would be more than reasonable if they passed because PGC is kind of a shite title, despite what Brady did with it. Thats obviously not an issue now, OC is there if they want it.

I think you misunderstand what kind of coach Curtis Johnson is.

He would help on the recruiting trail but he’s not going to be scheming us into the end zone. He’s never been that guy.

He is a good coach and been doing it a long time, but I would prefer a guy who has called plays before. He has never been a coordinator
