Why would quarantine rules be set in stone? Aren't we supposed to follow science? Even so, Big Ten stays way too extreme for this updated length of time.

It was never totally arbitrary you guys, really. It was all well rationales and full of common sense, because the Big 10 is so morally and intellectually superior.

The science now shows that 17 days is the optimal time

My gripe isn't that, it's the fact ya'll started a thread over Big Ten changing quarantine time. Why would it be set in stone?

Everyone does this. The ACC didn't even try to hide it. The SEC does it for Bama every year.

What supposedly firm, concrete rules have been changed by the SEC to benefit Alabama?

How about the absolute joke that is your schedule every season.

Really, the NCAA should've grown a spine and standardized things for anyone wanting to compete for a championship this season.

Why has a "Florida fan" been such an Ohio State cockgobbler on the board? Your entire post history is 20 pages of you politcing for Ohio State to be in the playoffs. Who are you trying to fool?

Then why have it at all?

Maybe Ohio State could’ve played more freaking games if it was shorter the whole season

Other teams had to miss games and were down players all throughout the year based on 21, I bet they wish it was 17. And why 17? Why not 14? 10?

They should just make it 10 right now so they don’t look ridiculous in a week when they change it again.

The timing of this relative to their previous actions and comments are what makes it nuts

Well, first, that's bullshite. I've spent more time talking about Star Wars than Ohio State.

Second, don't mistake me fighting against A&M as fighting for Ohio State or Notre Dame.

They won't even make it to Bama.

I expect Clemson to send them home. Again.

Big Ten players who test positive for COVID-19 will only be required to miss 17 days

I figured they were going to reduce it to 10 days.

Good, why should the Big10 be so restrictive and punish itself and hamper it's teams when the SEC is doing the complete opposite...everyone can play in a week and no contact tracing.

I mean we either all play by the same rules or this season is even more rigged bullshite. Whoever gets less Covid and the school has lax rules is the National Champion.
