I’m sure it has but man I wish they could get back in that race with Arik quitting.

Arik is in his own league when it comes to TE prospects. There is no way to replace him. The staff needs to do whatever it takes to keep him from transferring

If someone could get him to enjoy blocking (see George Kittle), he would be All World!

I think Arik is a pretty good blocker for a true freshman tight end, actually.

yeah and some of the greatest receivers (the one that comes to mind is Jarvis) take major pride in their blocking as much as anything else

he has done well, but he has also been asked to block a lot more than he should. the lack of creativity to get him involved is going to cost Linehan his job

This is the main problem with the whole offense including the OL.

Lack of creativity.
Not getting our skill players the ball in space quickly.

1. Part of the problem is coaching and poor game planning in several games.

2. Part of the problem is poor OL play. Some if this is on the players. Fat and not as good as they were last year. Some is on the freshman qbs not picking up the rush as well as a seasoned qb. (This is to be expected.)

3. Jmo. I don't think that this team is aggressive enough from the coaching staff all the way down to individual players.

lol

If we had a three year old QB you'd be spouting the same nonsense instead of saying, "Our main problem is we have a three year old QB."

Penrod.

I like reading your views.
I guess you did not read all of number 2 on my post because I point blank said that part of the issues are on inexperienced qbs.

It is not just 1 cause it is multiple causes.
