Tough day today. I had been stacking good rounds together with a season best 73. Had to take 3 weeks off and not so good today—87. Oh well that’s golf. Back at it tomorrow.

That's tough to go out and shoot that high when you know what you're capable of. I was playing 4 days a week before the daylight's wasting time. Now I'm limited to a couple of rounds on the weekend going 5 days between rounds and I notice my game is just recovering by late in the round on Sunday.

Some real first world problems here, but the struggle is real.

Same here. Can't even hit the range after work because it's pitch black at 5:15.

I guess you’re getting down voted by people jealous of 87 being a bad day. But to go from 73-87 is rough. Coming from someone who hasn’t broken 80, I know if I dropped to 100+ Id be pissed. Go work on your chipping. That always is the first thing to go when you take time off.

Mid 80’s guy here. Hadn’t played since august. Shot 94 at Carter yesterday and I was pissed

It’s always the short game, man. I was great off the tee most of the day, but 125 in was a nightmare and I under cut idk how many wedge shots. It’s frustrating knowing the work that needs to be put in just to get back what you had a few months ago. But that’s the beauty of golf. If it was easy, everyone would do it.
