Student Away Game Ticket Requests

Just got the email.

Dear JollyGreenGiant:

The chart below lists the number of 2008 football away game student tickets that you have been awarded. The LSU Student Priority Point Plan was used to allocate tickets for all away games.

We were able to fulfill all student requests for the South Carolina and Arkansas games. Because demand exceeded the available supply for the Auburn and Florida games, we were not able to award a ticket to every student for those games. The minimum number of points required to receive a ticket was 127 for Auburn and 123 for Florida, and those students who were awarded a ticket were limited to 1 ticket apiece( ).

The football away game student tickets you have been awarded are as follows:

To view your 2007-08 Student Priority Point total, log on to your LSU student ticketing account at www.LSUsports.net/studenttickets , click on “My Account”, and then click on “View My Priority Points.”

Student Priority Point totals were also used to determine which area of the stadium each student will sit in. The chart below details the minimum number of Student Priority Points needed to obtain seating in the Lower Level of the stadium for each game. Students who have a point total greater than or equal to the minimum will receive seating in the lower level, and those students with a point total less than the minimum will receive seating in the upper level (although exact seat locations will not be assigned until the tickets are picked up). All seats for the Arkansas game are lower level.

If you no longer want any of the tickets you have been awarded, you have until Friday, August 22 at 5pm to cancel your order. If you would like to cancel your order, please respond to this email with your name, LSUID number, and which game(s) you would like to cancel.

We will charge credit cards for the cost of the tickets plus a $5 processing fee for all remaining orders beginning on Saturday, August 23.

Information regarding ticket pickup times and places will be emailed to you no later than the week prior to each game.
