. It's been that long. I think the last season I played in was season 8. Quit once I got big into Fortnite. If it's what it sounds like, that sounds very interesting.

Damn you did take a break, in season 18 they broke competitive up so that you could choose which role you wanted to queue for with each one having its own SR. Season 19 they added Open Queue which was like how comp was the first 3 years of the game where you could choose whichever roll you wanted. Now they have added a rotating competitive arcade mode for each season which helps things not get to stale. I feel like theyve done a (mostly) good job at maintaining a four year old game.

Im on xbox but if youre looking to play hit up my alt account Bastion UGH, most of my friends dont play anymore so I am always down for new teammates.
