My thoughts are this, if he's got one foot out of the door then we don't need him on the team anyway. We are trying to change the culture here not continue it. If he's all in and willing to sacrifice like the rest of the team then you welcome him with open arms. If he's even considering "opting out" tell him good luck and prepare other kids to take his spot. As great a talent as he is, this year has shown that at his position he can be neutralized and isn't a gamechanger. Teams just adjust the way they line up and attack others really making him inconsequential. This week against Smith is big for him if he has any thoughts of opting out.

Though it's not likely to affect him, his film from this season isn't exactly gonna be great. Lot of "hustle" plays that aren't gonna gain him praise from NFL scouts.
