Then if that is best for them, why come to LSU, why play college ball at all.... Oh, maybe to show their talents, then when they showed enough, frick LSU, fans, their teammates!! What about the 100's of plays before pussying out, not opting out. They could have gotten hurt then.

All of you who are defending them are prolly pussies tooooo.

Have your teams, freinds, etc. backs... These dudes don't care

I'm not defending him or any others that quit mid-season, though I understand why he's doing it. He's ready to go to the league and has almost no other avenue outside of attending college.
The NFL needs to change some stuff regarding eligibility to declare. IMO it should be one of the following:
1. Straight from high school (extremely rare and I don't think would actually happen)
2. 4 years of college or graduated to declare
3. NFL developmental league with no association to NCAA (not gonna happen. NFL loves their free farm)

The NFL uses the colleges to develop the players to a degree.
The college uses the players (to a much lesser degree than the NFL uses the colleges) to make money
The players are now starting to use the colleges to their own advantage. The NFL is obviously the clear winner here regardless of how you splice it and they'll do whatever they can to keep it running the exact same way.
