I hear him compared to Hester a lot. Hard-nosed runner who gives it his all everytime he touches the ball. If that is the case, I expect him to see a lot of PT on Special Teams this year and some PT in the backfield in the future.

I'm not saying hes not a good player, but I have some friends that play in the MPSA and for some reason they think Ridley is the best RB in the history of high school football. I wish he was the best ever for LSU's sake, but these MPSA people need to get some perspective.

MPSA a "white boy" league? A district MVP QB (AA LHSAA classification) out of Ferriday HS (recently tragically killed in MVA) transfered to a local MPSA school to play his senior year (age restictions in LHSAA) and did not make honorable mention in his year in the MPSA. Pretty weak league. Will Arnold's experience was MPSA. An aside. Watched one of Ridley's incredible games and saw a older ref walk out of the school parking lot heading home. Asked him what he thought of Ridley. " Might be better than Musso."

Wow, what a rambling mess. Does anyone else understand all this mumbo jumbo?

I am in no way, shape, or form saying Ridley isn't a good player. I'm just saying the MPSA is a very weak league. Anyone that says it isn't is crazy. I've been to countless basketball and football games and I at some points I thought I was watching JV ball. My brother just transfered from Amite High School (3A LHSAA) to Oak Forrest (I think A MPSA) because of the coaching situation at Amite getting out of control. Hes a sophmore and he was a rotating safety at Amite. I went and watched him practice at Oak Forrest the other day and I was amazed at how terrible they were. My brother was one of the biggest players on the team at 6' 180 and the second fastest running a 4.7 40. Those measurements shouldn't be anywhere near the top of any team.

Guys, plenty of websites for redneck jokes, hitting on girls, and comparing tobacco chew. Talk about LSU and don't embarass the true LSU faithful. Amazing personalities.

GeauxWarrior .. Don't argue with what you say, but the issue is the quality of MPSA at the top. I've seen some pretty sick LHSAA teams too. Remember, MPSA AA (Oak Forest class) would be a small LHSAA A school. The top MPSA A would be LHSAA A state champs most years. The point is when a dude has 3100 yds rushing in 14 games one year and plays only a half in 6 of them thats unheard of. Also this is with him playing with a big X on his back and everyone geared to stop him. Durability is a big deal and he is the real deal in regards to toughness.
