Well the current topic we are discussing is more like your wife sneaking up behind you with a .22 and putting a bullet in your head. Not the same as unplugging a machine.

To each their own. I’m not afraid of doing the dirty work. If the vet wants me to push the medicine to put him to sleep peacefully then stop his heart I would do it.

I just think the act of putting a bullet in his brain is less appealing and would make it harder for me to cope with the loss.

Again, I guess everyone is different. It’s just strange to me.
