Well you aren't just getting her insurance on one car. She has to be covered for everything on your policy. And FWIW, just be glad you don't have a boy. Mine was double that for my all A's son who took driving school.

In Louisiana if she lives in the household she is covered for all vehicles. They will charge rates as if she drives the most valuable.
