Vaccines have a lot of options. We started out using similar viruses. Then we moved on to weakened forms. This RNA stuff creates segments that are similar to the virus so your body reads and reacts to it. So we still go through some of the symptoms. That's all chills, aches, coughs, sneezes and fevers are, your immune system firing off. It's only a bad thing when it can't turn itself off because the disease is hijacking or just not getting removed naturally.
So no. You having a bad day after a dose is not a bad sign. Babies go through em in their batteries of it. It's not uncommon after a flu shot. It's just part of modern medicine and life and manageable. But a little heads up is nice on this one.
