re: Saving for a safari trip

I did the Serengeti and Ngorogoro crater last year. Only a 3 day but that was plenty for me. We saw the big 5, stayed in "luxury" tents and had a blast. 3 days of rattling around on those roads was enough for me, ymmv....Then caught a puddle jumper from Kilimanjaro to Zanzibar for a 5 day all inclusive that was very reasonable...most beautiful water I have ever seen. Grab the ferry back to Dar es Salaam for the return flight home.
