In other words you're to lazy to click on the link on Biden's website that takes you to Giffords site that talks about registering them through the NFA and paying $200 stamp.

Damn bro... I specifically said that I "perused" the document that was linked and several people said "IT'S RIGHT THERE ON HIS WEBSITE".

It was NOT in fact on his website but on a link. There are 3-4 linked words in half of the paragraphs. "Peruse" means that I did not click on every link.

That is why I was asking if someone could point me in the right direction to where the $200 part came in. Some people did just that and you chose to call me lazy because I am at work and don't have time to click on 50 links on the Joe Biden website.

Are people jumping your case? Yeah, they are.

But this is one of those times where it's probably warranted.
Let's assume for the sake of argument that Biden does take office, and further that he got a decent amount of votes from gun owners- people who, for whatever reason, chose to vote for him over Trump and yet still own firearms.

A gun ban like '94, where if you had them in time it was okay, but you couldn't get stuff afterwards- that would be bad enough. But then you get a lot of folks who 'beat the rush', both then, and given firearms sales this year, now.

But his plan to eliminate grandfathered items, and to retroactively force people to register (on a registry, as well as pay for tax stamps)- that's a nightmare. A whole lot of people will probably say "Oh, I didn't want that. Heck, I just went out and bought one this May"...
and you know what? No excuse. He didn't hide it. He didn't say he wouldn't, or even not say anything about it at all; he directly stated he WOULD.

Saying "I didn't know anything about it" isn't an excuse, when the info is out there in plain sight.
