Checking in here….

Saw a dermatologist 3 times since February and he just said it was normal cyst and to take some antibiotics. Last visit he referred me to a general surgeon who then referred me to a colorectal.

Been draining blood and puss out of my right cheek everyday for 3 months now… haven’t been comfortable since January.

I was starting to think it was hydradenitis suppurativa


Man I don’t like seeing these posts about recovery times. Thought it was just a few weeks of light activity…
Someone send words of encouragement.

I had one removed about 20 years ago. Running season is over.

Hate to tell you, but it's a gnarly procedure and recovery from what I've heard. I know someone who works with a surgeon removing them and they said it's nasty. Nothing you can't handle though, and I've heard the relief after it's gone is great.
