A shop house.
Barndominium.
Whatever. I just want something more maintenance free and storm resistant.
Are there any builders in the local baton rouge area.
What are the lending options?
Code adherence?

Have been seeing more and more of them lately. Always found the concept pretty interesting.

I can tell you this about one in particular
It was the ONLY structure still standing after Rita. 100 % intact without any damage to the building itself, the first floor had 5 foot or more water in it from tidal surge. Located about halfway between the Gibstown Bridge and the Gulf of Mexico. I believe built by Southern Stuctures for a commercial hunting outfitter
