Got to wonder how negatively Harden had a role in that, we might see something similar after Westbrook leaves
If Harden moves teams I think he could become a great robin

Prob not much. if the dude can’t keep himself healthy and in shape that is on him as a professional. I know the blame shifting culture of today would want to blame another person. But that dog don’t hunt.

I'm so excited we did this without giving up Cam or Mikal, but oh my gosh, I'm devastated to say goodbye to Kelly.

True, which is why we shouldn't shift any off of Harden
We are seeing a bad pattern regarding Harden's robin, aren't we?

Yep. Harden has a better career playoff on off than lebron. He has been more hurt by his robins lack of production when he is off the court than almost anyone.
Read this for a good laugh.
Jordan himself wouldn’t have won with that kinda production out his sidekick.

The 2-0 deficit leading into Game 3 presented a real pressure situation for Houston but the team responded in emphatic fashion, winning both games with Harden scoring 38 and 41 points in Games 3 and 4. Paul on the other hand chipped in just 14 and 13 points and frankly hadn’t played well for the series at all. (Harden would average 34.8 points for the series to Paul’s 16.7). Game 5 was a huge missed opportunity for the team, with Paul scoring 11 points on 3-14 shooting, compared to Harden’s 31.

Wait..... you are saying Harden has been better in the playoffs over the years than Lebron???????? Wow. You just took stupid to another level.

I see You are not very up to date on your stats and what they mean. I said that hardens teams have been worse when he is off the floor than lebrons has.
Ie harden has a better playoff on off than bron.

I’m just happy for jackwoods4. He’s suffered long enough.

On/Off is a good stat to use to show the importance a specific player has to a specific team, and is even better when used to help illustrate roster shortfalls. But using it to compare Player A to Player B on different teams is misleading.

At this point I'm just waiting until Devin one-ups Eric Bledsoe by saying how he wants to leave PHX after forgetting to mute himself while streaming Call of Duty.

Not in the context I used it.
Harden has been more let down by his teammates than lebron has, when both players are off the court, in the playoffs.

To be fair, Jordan would never let that happen. Harden can try but doesn't have that leader in him but not everyone is made to be a batman and there is nothing wrong with that

There is not one rockets team that harden has been on in Houston where you could say, replace harden with x, and Houston wins the title. there is not one player in league history. No Jordan, no lebron, no one.
Could lebron or a mike win with a robin like Injured russ last year, or chris the year before. Heavens no.

Are you talking about overall or specific years?
Because last year, the Lakers in the playoffs were +15.3 better when LeBron was on the floor vs off. The Rockets were only +9.8 with Harden on the floor.
In the 2019 and 2018 playoffs (the ones you were complaining about), the Rockets were +7.2 and +21.1 with Harden on the floor. One good and one phenomenal number.
In the 2018 and 2017 playoffs (using ‘17 because LeBron missed ‘19 playoffs), the Cavs were +7.5 and +30.7 with LeBron on the floor.
If you want to go further, in the ‘17 playoffs, the Rockets were actually worse when Harden was on the floor than off (-3.6). Yet in the ‘16 playoffs, the Cavs were again significantly better with LeBron on the floor (+20).
Look, I’m not saying that LeBron hasn’t had a better Robin in his career than Harden, but using On/Off to prove your point is not the way to go. That’s not how that stat should be used

You might be right, the problem is they wouldn't put themselves in positions like that
Being a leader doesn't start when you walk on the court

Well I guess I was just confused why you would complain about the Robins of the last few years then. Do you mind posting a link for your claim? Not disagreeing but would like to see it. I would also argue that career on/off is an even worse way to make your point.
