When did Devonta Lee switch to TE?

I completely missed this. With our need at LB and Gilbert having TE locked down with Kole Taylor behind him it’s a surprising move. I guess he wasn’t progressing on defense or maybe he asked for a move back to offense. He’s reminding be of Jacoby Stevens a bit I hope he finally finds his place and thrives. Very talented kid that was always the best player on that Amite team and not Ishmael Sophser.

I think he’s played every position except O line and qb

They should give him a chance at the will backer, or whatever they call the weak side backer in "our system".is He big enough though ?

I think Cox is the Will on this defense and if I had to guess that’s where Raesjon Davis will play next year. Speed is way more important than size there.

He appears to be a better athlete than football player. And/or just an unfortunate tweener. I agree he’s similar to Stevens. That dude is in his 4th year, and they still don’t know where to put him.

Dude should have played LB when he got here. He's not the only one that can't figure out what Bo wants to do. He's going to either waste his talent here or transfer. Same story as Sullivan.

Would have got some PT at TE this week had we played. TE position was hit pretty hard with the contact tracing stuff
