Did they sell game used jerseys at Fan Day?

i got mine for $125 purple away jersy. didn't see any white ones but they did have a few gold ones

Damn i'm stuck here in Houston. Anyone have a # to the Tiger Gift Center? I'll have to call to see if I can buy some tomorrow.

i don't but those jerseys were going pretty damn fast. after i got my autographs i saw they had a pile of jerseys and by the time i checked out they had 4 left. they also had game used helmets, a shite load of them.

There wre more than 4 left. No white ones, plus the Gold/Purple ones had the names on the back. I saw Cameron Vaughn, Alonzo Manuel, Shane O-Toole, Jarrod Carter, Ken Hollis in the purple. Joe Wesley was in Gold. They had plenty of helmets. And at $325/ea I can see why.

yeah a little pricey, the jerseys use to be 80 a few years back. the helmets last season sold for 250 at the gift shop. guess they jacked the prices up a little for fan day.

I got Marlon Favorite's game used helmet from the Sugar Bowl or NC for $300 at the Fan Day.
The NC helmets had the BCS NC logo on it, not the BCS Series logo, correct?
There were about 20-30 game used helmets left on the rack, about 1/2 of them were the whites from Tulane last year.
I saw about three of them have the BCS Logo on the back, so I grabbed Favorite's.

Yeah, Athletics is starting to play games with the semantics between game used, game worn, and just player worn.
The only reason I took notice and researched it further, was because I saw some guy with the #32 White helmet...and figuring I wrote a check to athletics for over $2k for that "game used" uniform I was a little miffed.

The players used the same helmets the entire season (other than the Tulane game). They cleaned them up and refurbished them after the NC game and allowed the players to purchase their actual game helmets from the season. It's highly unlikely that any of the good players didn't get their helmets and some donated them to charity for auctions. I purchased one and paid out the arse for it after having a few too many cocktails.

I am not really sure what the helemts were (ie game worn, player worn). I got a white helmet (Tulane game). It had 15 on the back (Matt Flynn). First off they had three helmets with 15 on them, second the face mask on the helmet was a linemens mask not one a QB would wear, and finally most of the big name players uniforms were auctioned off after the game.
It is an authentic helmet just not sure of the when it was worn and by whom, but it did have purple and green scuffs on it so I assume it was worn by someone playing in the Tulane game

i paid 100$ for a game used 2001 sugar bowel helmet in 2002 after the MS STATE game in the gift shop. WOW has gas driven up the prices of everything!
