This is democrats' biggest ace in the hole. The current GOP platform is doing an incredibly poor job of gaining new voters. What they've got, is what they've got, basically. Any vote they lose is a victory against them. Trump knows this. His rhetoric is becoming more radical by the day. He's doubling down on the core supporters he has left. Every person who decides, 'ok, this is too much for me' is cause to celebrate.
