Once Chief Justice Roberts is removed for his FISA court involvement in the Obamagate coup, yes?
Well, technically they'll have a 6-3 majority after today, but yes, I take your point.
However, I also wonder if once ACB is confirmed, and the Republicans hold a 6-3 majority if John Roberts might actually do the opposite of what we expect. He may, instead imo, move back to the right. I mean, what would be the point of siding with Dems when his vote won't make any difference anyways? Plus, he's gotta be thinking that he is under the gun with his adoption issues. I wouldn't be surprised to see him begin moving back to the right.
Time will tell though, and either way I don't think Roberts has much longer on the bench.

All of this is why ACB on the Court is so devastating for the Dems.
Aside from the fact that she solidifies a conservative majority, they lose whatever leverage they may have on Roberts. He’s still going to vote however he votes, but it really won’t matter anymore. He’s no longer a swing vote.

Agreed. Once ACB is sworn in tonight, Roberts' position as a mercurial swing vote is lost forever and he loses all value to his DS handlers. His addiction to Beltway cocktail parties has doomed him.
