Max Johnson is the closest thing to Fields we have on the roster.
I hate to tell you, but TJ is NOT a run threat. He isn’t Cam Newton. He does not have the burst or top-end speed. He is a big-bodied, durable pocket passer who happens to be able to put his shoulder down for a few extra yards.

Agree. He doesn’t have to be Cam. Just druable enough to be a threat by pulling a few times a game.
The more players the defense has to defend or worry about, advantage offense ie 5 versus 4.
Johnson has more upside.
