I'm no expert but the saying or writing of God outside of prayer is I believe a sin, and akin to taking God's name in vain.

Yes, you aren't supposed to write his name or some shite. The same is true for Yaweh. I think they do YHWH.
ETA That yahweh shite may actually not be true. Something i heard a long time ago but YHWH are the Hebrew letters. But you aren't supposed to speak his name. You can write it though.
