Congratulations! You make it sound easy but it’s hard work to make a big change in your lifestyle and stick to it.
I see that you have a wedding band - did the SO take the journey with you? I dropped a good amount of weight when I was married and it seemed to make my ex angrier and angrier.

I do all of the cooking and she eats what I cook, so initially she did and lost some weight, as well. At some point though, it became apparent that she needs constant supervision and since we both work, she eventually took a different path. She’s not mad though, heck she’s got a trophy husband now. :)
