Bible also says life begins at first breath.
It doesn't. Job says the breath of God gave him life, but that's more of a point of God's work in creation and life itself than anything else.

The question boils down to whether or not the human being in the womb of its mother has value and should be protected. The Bible mentions multiple times that we are known and called with a purpose from before we were born.

Was Jesus any less the son of God in the womb of Mary with value and purpose ordained by God? What about John the Baptist? What about Samson, whose mother was told not to drink wine or eat anything unclean while she was pregnant so that he could maintain his life as a Nazirite?

It's clear the Bible teaches that there is value to the unborn. Being barren was considered a curse to the Jews and being pregnant was something to be celebrated as a blessing from God. They didn't consider their unborn children as nothing of consequence.
