I'm sure Griffin is having those convos with him and his agent.

I still am 100% convinced that Griffin will want to run it out there with JJ and Jrue on the team to try and convince them that we are a winning franchise, and if it isn't working out, try to trade them for what you can to a contender at the deadline. He's a "believe in us" type of guy.

But I'd definitely be looking out there if he's not signing an extension (which he is unlikely to do).

I don't mind waiting until near the trade deadline, but if he doesn't agree to an extension, I really don't see any reason to keep him, certainly not a reason that is more valuable than the return we can get for him.
