My offseason priorities would be signing Springer and Brantley, and extending Correa

Did you forget what they already have tied up between Bregman, Altuve, Greinke, and Verlander?
I think it’s feasible they sign Springer to a solid deal, but it’ll have to be one of the two. I think you throw all effort at Springer because I don’t trust Correa to resign anyway. I think he eventually ends up in Miami with Jeter and the eventual money they will be spending.
Someone mentioned it earlier, I think Springer ends up with the Mets and when it’s time, I expect a long process when Correa is a FA that the Astros ultimately lose out on considering Miami has more appeal than Houston overall as far as optics go. Which I think is important to Correa.

It's feasible because Greinke and Verlander are going to come off the books.
And we are losing Reddick's black hole salary.

Do you mean in terms of lifestyle? The Astros spend 2 months in Florida every year for Spring training anyways and during the season you're traveling too much for that to matter.
Other than that Houston as a fan base and baseball city is clearly far superior to Miami.

I’m so thankful for the spark Correa provided this postseason. I still have long term concerns over his drive once that big deal gets inked.
I will be extremely interested to see how he plays next year. Obviously it is a contract year but does he bring that same energy that he brought this postseason?
